Outlook Express News Configuration

To use Outlook express to connect to the newsgroup servers you need to follow a few simple steps.

Configuration:

1. If Outlook Express isn't open, double-click on its icon to run it.
2. From the Tools menu, click on Accounts.
   
3. Click on the News tab to bring up your news configuration.
   
4. Select your Iprimus.com news configuration and then click on Properties.
5. Select the Server tab.
   
6. In the Server name: box, type news.iprimus.com .
7. Make sure that This server requires me to log on is checked.
8. Type your username in the Account name: box
9. Type your password in the Password: box.
10. Put a checkmark in the Remember password box to not be prompted for a password everytime you log in to the news server.
11. Make sure that Log on using Secure Password Authentication is *not* checked.
12. Click on OK to close the profile.
