Connecting using the MacOS

It is very easy to connect to the Internet using and your MacOS.

Requisites: You need to have TCP/IP and Remote Access installed in your control panel. If you do not have these programs installed, please consult your MacOS documentation or contact Apple for installation instructions.

Configuration Instructions:

  • In the Apple menu, open your Control Panel.
  • Click on TCP/IP.
  • Make sure that Connect via: is set to PPP
  • Set the Configure: box to Using PPP Server
  • Type in "" in the Search Domains: box.
  • Close the TCP/IP box.
  • From the Apple menu, open your Control Panel once again, this time opening up Remote Access.
  • Open the Setup disclosure triangle if it isn't open already.
  • Select Registered User.
  • Type your full e-mail address in the Name: box. For example foo@
  • Type your account password in the Password: box
  • Make sure that Save password is checked.
  • Type the appropriate dialup number for your city in the Number: box.
  • Click the Connect button to hook up to the Internet.
