Connecting using the MacOS
It is very easy to connect to the Internet using and
your MacOS.
Requisites: You need to have TCP/IP and Remote
Access installed in your control panel. If you do not have these
programs installed, please consult your MacOS documentation
or contact Apple
for installation instructions.
Configuration Instructions:
- In the Apple menu, open your Control Panel.
- Click on TCP/IP.
- Make sure that Connect via: is set to PPP
- Set the Configure: box to Using PPP Server
- Type in "" in the Search Domains: box.
- Close the TCP/IP box.
- From the Apple menu, open your Control Panel once
again, this time opening up Remote Access.
- Open the Setup disclosure triangle if it isn't open already.
- Select Registered User.
- Type your full e-mail address in the Name: box.
For example foo@
- Type your account password in the Password: box
- Make sure that Save password is checked.
- Type the appropriate dialup number for your city in the Number:
box.
- Click the Connect button to hook up to the Internet.
